Never is there enough done to thank our soldiers, or our veterans. Regardless of politics, these men and women put their lives on the line daily, and deserve our love, admiration, and at the very least, our appreciation. My favorite part of every show that I do, is when I get to "Thank" the men and women of the armed forces, stationed all over the world, doing what they do over there, so that we can be over here doing what we do...and to the veterans who have already done their part to make this the greatest country on the planet. Hi! I am a member of Operation Minnesota Nice (OMN) in Minnesota and we adopt soldiers and send care packages out every month. I have been sewing cool scarves for our soldiers and found your site after looking for directions on how to make sand scarves. It looks like you are a wonderful group of caring Americans too!

Hi Michael, I hope people haven't forgotten us. I am still sewing scarves. Donations are rough to come by in this economy so things have slowed down. Was hoping Alex would take on the site but she never got back to me about it. Hey if you still want to help us out I have plenty of things to go around. lol . I am working on something for PKC in the way of a fundraiser. will let everyone know when I get things in Place. In the meantime .....Everyone who supports our troops whether it is through PKC or other ways WE THANK YOU . Emma Bonin...if you still visit the site, don't worry, I spent some time in Balad...it is awesome, like Clubmed, seriously...to get stationed at Balad is about the best place a soldier could be in Iraq!

my son steve will be leaving for balood (?) iraq in the middle of january. i want to make neck coolers for him and others he will be in contacted with and make it some what easier for them.
